President and Chief Executive Officer, Mattson Technology
As chief executive officer, David L. Dutton serves on the Board of Directors and sets the direction of the organization, leading the executive team in establishing and realizing long-term strategies and objectives for corporate growth. Previously, Dutton served as Mattson Technology's President and Chief Executive Officer from December 2001 to June 2005. Dutton, a twenty-year veteran of the semiconductor industry, joined Mattson Technology in 1994. In 1995, Dutton became Vice President and General Manger of the Plasma Strip Group, which he was instrumental in growing to help Mattson become a dominant leader in the global strip market. In 1998, he was promoted to Chief Operating Officer, setting him on the path toward the President and CEO position. Dutton last served as the President of the Plasma Products Division until his appointment as President and CEO in late 2001. Prior to joining Mattson, he held key management positions at Intel and Maxim Integrated Products. Dutton serves on the Board of Directors for the Bay Area Council. Dutton holds a bachelor of science degree from San Jose State University.
